{106 weeks to go}
We had a photo shoot at St. Jude this morning for them to possibly use for fundraising! Gabe was excited until he had to put on a hoodie that they wanted him to wear and then he refused to get his picture made by himself. 🙄 We ended up getting a family picture made and Daniel and Bella got their picture made as well.
They told Bella to pose, and as you can tell from the picture below, she had no problem posing for the camera. She switched from side to side without prompting and it was like it was her own private photo shoot. The camera crew loved it and said she was a natural. 😂
Gabe’s numbers were better this week, but we are on week 14 which means a different chemo {this one can make his legs ache} and we are back on DEX this week. {steroid} They added a new medicine with the hopes that it might help some of The Hulk behavior that comes out on steroid weeks. This also means that my handy dandy medicine calendar will have to come back out because there’s just too many medicines for me to remember.
Just two more weeks until our Re-Induction #2 phase and that means 4 weeks of the dreaded chemo shots 😞 but like everything else, we push through it.
I know I’m always asking for prayer, but I know prayer works and we definitely need it extra in the next few weeks. We are in for a busy week, as we will be moving everything out of my store. I’m also working hard on my book, and I can’t wait to have the complete rough draft in front of me!
We appreciate your support and prayers!
