Have you ever been going through something and you don’t think that you can make it a minute longer? You ask God for strength and He gives it to you. You go from not being able to go a minute longer to a few minutes, to hours, days, and then the next thing you know, you’ve made it through! Isn’t that just like God? His strength is made perfect in our weakness. A friend of mine at Church, said this: It’s God’s super on our natural. We are natural. We live in the natural. We can’t do anything with out God. But God is supernatural. It’s His super on our natural. Supernatural. Don’t you just love that? She said that, and it clicked with me.
In Chapter 18:1-3 it says: “I love you, Lord; you are my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the strength of my salvation, and my stronghold. I will call on the Lord, who is worthy of praise, for he saves me from my enemies.”
It’s okay to admit that you can’t do something on your own. I know, I know, you don’t want to admit that you need help. I don’t like to admit that. But it’s okay to ask for strength. We can’t do it without God’s help. The Bible says, “With God all things are possible.” We need Him to be our strength. Take refuge in the fact that He is our Rock, our Stronghold.
You should be praising Him today, that you’re not on your own. That you’re not going through this walk on your own strength. Because if we were, we wouldn’t make it very far. Remember it’s God’s Super on our Natural!
Hugs,
Erin
