Hey everyone,
Happy fall!! I am tremendously happy that it’s finally time for hoodies, smore’s, bonfires, hay rides, etc. I love to see the leaves changing colors and falling! It is by far my favorite season.
I’m sorry that I have been on a blogging hiatus, but there is a good reason. I have just started my first service year with the AmeriCorps! So, with that being said, I have been getting used to the weirdness of being gone all day, and then accomplishing the kids fed, family time and then bath time. And if I manage; cleaning the house!
New routine, new house and new commitments equals one tired mama! Everything has started to slow down and feel more comfortable, so we will continue our study on Psalms.
One thing that I have been reminded of lately is that no matter what you “plan” for your life; it may and undoubtedly won’t go according to your plan. Things do go wrong, and yes, unexpected things can and will happen. But God is in control. And His ways are always better than ours! It amazes me that when I look back over my life and the outcomes that I pictured and what God actually done and the routes He took me on to get to that point, it blows my mind! God’s end result makes mine look pathetic.
Palms 57:10 says: “For your unfailing love is as high as the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the clouds.”
God is faithful! And His love is unfailing! The chorus of one of my favorite songs to listen to lately is, “Your love never fails, it never gives up, it never runs out on me.” Others will let you down. Others will fail you. Others will give up on you. But God NEVER does!
How awesome is that?
Hugs,
Erin
