I started typing out my status for my face book and then after a paragraph of my rant, I decided that it was way too long for a status, and most people would probably stop reading it. Then I remembered that I could blog about it instead. Ha! So here is my way to long rant on Facebook this morning. Enjoy!
“Jacob Howard is finally feeling better, so after work today we are going to see The Hunger Games! I’m so excited to see it regardless of what the reviews are saying. There is no way any movie can be as good as a book. And that’s why reading is so amazing. It allows you to get inside the characters head and think and feel everything that they do. So that’s why I can go into a theater with no expectations and just enjoy the movie as a movie. Then I’ll probably go home and read the book again. ;)”
In other writing news, I had to do a character sketch for my creative writing course. I sat down and didn’t have anyone in mind when I started writing. But when I finished, I described the best friend of my heroine Abbie in Just Breathe Abbie! So it looks like Lizzie Porter will be getting her own book. I’m very excited about this, she is a great character and deserves her own book! 😉
I was also browsing through my pieces of flair (does anyone do that anymore?) and found some funny ones that I thought I would share. I watched The Princess Bride with my kiddos last night, so I had to share those!
